and Alternative Communication, Computer Access, Educational Software, Classroom
Review, Worksite Modifications, Indnependent Living, Accessiblility Surveys,
Transportation and Funding
- Clientele: Individuals with disabilities, family members, service
providers including educators, therapists, vocational counselors, administrators,
health care; employers and community members.
- Referral Procedure: Anyone may contact us.
- Eligibility requirements: None. BTC provides support to all persons
with disabilities in their efforts to access technology and to increase awareness
and understanding of how that technology can enhance their abilities to participate
more fully in their community. Therefore, we may be assisting individuals
directly or indirectly by working with their caregivers, therapists, vocational
counselors, case managers, educators, employers and/or community members.
- Fees: Fees are based on type of service provided. Sliding-Scale
and waivers are available to all persons and entities dependent on individual
situations. No one will be denied services for lack of ability to pay.
- Training - Workshops on different assistive
technology topics are scheduled several times a year.Click on Trainings
