Toy Library Policies

o Toys and/or switches are available for checkout from the library for 30 days at no charge.

o Checking out toys is open to anyone. We do, however, re

quest that the selected toy be for the benefit of an individual with a disability.

o We understand that out toys break occasionally from wear and tear, but please accept responsibility for toys that are damaged by misuse or for missing pieces.

o Toys and/or switches can be picked up or dropped off, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Other arrangements may be made with staff. If you need to have toys mailed to you, there are fees for shipping/handling and insurance. Amounts are based on the size and weight and value of the item.

o Batteries are provided free of charge because we want the kids to have lots of fun with our toys. However, we are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and WE LOVE DONATIONS from you, your employer, your church. We also have donation envelopes available for sharing with others.

o The toys and switches in our library have been funded over the years by private individuals and organizations such as: The Fayette Lions Club, WHAS Crusade for Children, Lexington Jr. League, Kentucky Early Intervention System- "First Steps" and Ronald McDonald Charities.
